I asked my hotel concierge for a great place to have paella 🥘, I have never had the dish before and they knew exactly where to send me too. Gaudim restaurant is beautifully decorated, the kitchen has windows that you can watch your food being prepared and cooked. Promptly sat down and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered grilled garlic prawns as an app but here’s my confusion, what I feel was served to me was garlic shrimp. To me when you say the word prawns I expect larger shrimp. I also ordered the chicken and vegetable paella for dinner, the garlic shrimp came to the table and the dish was so good and nice size slices of garlic. Then came the chicken and vegetable paella 🥘 and I was excited but then befuddled, all the pictures of paella 🥘 has been a large pan filled with rice and either seafood or in this case would have been chicken and veggies. I was served a plate of chicken and vegetable paella, I started eating and it was amazing food. When I finished I asked the hostess why I was served a plate and not the large pan and she said “you are a party if one and a pan of paella is served for two people, so you was charged a single portion of paella and not the larger portion for two people. Okay that made sense. Then I ordered a Catalana dessert called Crema Catalana and it was so good. This restaurant is also frequented by the Barcelona football team and there jerseys hanging on the wall. When you were in Barcelona, next time, make your dining reservations for here it’s really good food

I went to Gaudim last night with my partner and we were blown away. I ordered the Nebraska Black Angus entrecôte and it was absolute butter — incredibly flavorful, tender, and without a doubt one of the best pieces of meat in the entire city. It didn’t even make it to a photo. The meat literally fell apart; you barely needed a knife. If you go, don’t even hesitate — order it. Truly outstanding.

Four of us landed in Barcelona from the US early in the morning. Our hotel recommended Gaudim as a good spot for lunch. The hotel Vastly understated the quality of this restaurant. First of all, the owners are directly involved in the preparation and delivery of the food. Further, they oversee the excellent service delivery throughout the meal. Last but not least, the food was spectacular and our table, we had a special prepared, vegetarian dish, a beef cheek and a lamb and chicken paella dish. All three dishes were very delicious. I highly recommend Gaudim for great food and wonderful service. Lastly, if you’re a football fan, the restaurant is full of autographed jerseys. We feel especially fortunate to have “ discovered” This gem of a restaurant.

Hi we have visited this place after we have been in gaudim museum and we been recommend by Google this place is one of the best for paella we have to come it is posh place for paella itnis expensive but this is where is end . When we get our paella prowns are still not clean they pealed sheft off but they not clean this is why I give to this place 1 start. Place very nice clean service are good but food is been disrespectful and if you charge this amount of money you expect will be perfect but it was not close to perfect and not close to good some street food restaurant and got better quality paella. I make it a point to dine here on all my trips to Barcelona. They always treat me and everyone else well. This time, it took a bit of convincing to get a table even though there was plenty of availability. In any case, dinner tasted great.

That was an amazing experience for us. First day evening we had an opportunity to try that wonderful tastes especially mini wagyu burger and seafood paella. We totally pleasured both of them. I highly recommend this place because of that 💐💫

I came to this restaurant with no expectations, but I was genuinely impressed. Both the food and service were outstanding. 1- The mini wagyu was out of this world ,incredibly juicy and full of flavor. 2- The sirloin steak was excellent too. 3- We’ve had paella at several restaurants in Barcelona, but this one was by far the best. 4-The fried calamari was also delicious, especially with the garlic sauce on the side. The only small downside was that the prawns in the paella weren’t cleaned and were cooked as-is. Maybe that’s just the restaurant’s style, but it’s something I’m not used to. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The food was good but the chef was racist. As the only brown couple sitting in the dining room with only like 3 tables occupied, the chef talked to every table except ours. The only thing common with the other two tables, they were white looking. So if you are Indian or brown, you might want to be wary since they don’t like to interact with people they think should be staffing the restaurant. This is specially after the fact, that this spot is higher in price compared to local spots.
