I absolutely love this restaurant! I first tried the location in Denver, and this one is just as consistent and amazing. Their buttermilk biscuits are my favorite—so fluffy and delicious. They also serve fantastic preserves like blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, orange marmalade, and apple butter—all of them are incredibly tasty. I also highly recommend their Bloody Marys—so flavorful! That said, the restaurant itself is really small and gets very crowded. They have a waiting area upstairs, but the stairs aren’t ideal for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. It’s also a very tight squeeze when eating, which can make it feel a bit cramped.

Solid spot- the house is cute, but you are kind of squished in and feels a bit crowded. Food was pretty good, but nothing left me feeling like I had to go back right away. It was good just felt like it was missing a little something… portions are huge so keep that in mind when ordering. Server was friendly.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast at Lucile's! Everything was fresh and delicious. The orange juice is the best I have ever had! The biscuits were amazing. I suggest having part of your biscuit and saving some to enjoy later. The apple jam tasted like fall and the strawberry rhubarb jam was also divine.

Got the beignets as an appetizer for brunch and then shrimp and grits and the eggs pontchartrain and it was all sooo good! Great and attentive staff, i personally just didn’t prefer the table we were sat at as it was small and we had very limited space for food and just felt tight and clustered with the seating. The homemade jam on the biscuits was amazing!

One of my all time favorite breakfast spots in the U.S.! If I’m visiting the area, I try to make it here for breakfast. I’ve been to their 3 locations in Denver and they’re also very good. Everything I’ve sampled on the menu is good- it’s just a matter of what you are in the mood for. Last week, I made 2 visits here. The beignets are always amazing as well as the spiced tea (buy a bag and take it home). The blackened salmon with eggs is delicious as well as the trout. My friends ordered the porridge with berries and they were also good. Enjoy the biscuits with homemade jams, strawberry/rhubarb, blueberry or apple butter. Make sure you try the strawberry and the blueberry jams. Sometimes the table doesn’t always have both so ask for them.

This is a cozy spot and tables are close together, but I enjoy that because most downtown New Orleans places don't have much space either. If you want an authentic NOLA experience in Colorado, this is it. The staff were in point with service, the sauces are homemade include strawberry rhubarb jam in the table, and all the creole staples like gumbo (with okra), red beans and rice, shrimp and grits, beignets, and chicory coffee. I loved visiting New Orleans and this is the first time I've had such great creole food since leaving. Wish this got way better reviews because it deserves it. Do you know how hard it is to make beignets in the mountains? 5 stars to anyone who can do that.
