ALDI

The store is fine and I was super excited to have an Aldi’s this side of town. However the cashiers have been extremely rude and non-accommodating to do their actual job. I tried giving them a chance thinking I just had someone on a bad day. She was rude and demanded (not asked, mind you) she would absolutely not ring anything up that’s still in the box and mentioned this multiple times condescendingly. No smile, nothing. The second bad experience had a cashier who wouldn’t make change without a purchase and had just closed out my transaction before I forgot. No problem, I get it, even though I clearly made a purchase prior, they probably aren’t allowed to pop open a register without a purchase unless they’re managers or have overrides so I asked if I can buy a snack and just get change back. She refused and I asked if they accepted cash because it was confusing. She said they did but didn’t have change. I said what if someone paid in cash? She then threw up her hands in a huff, snapped “ok you do whatever you want!” Ma’am, is it so tough to have to get out of your register and have it restocked with bills like every other grocery store? The place was not busy at all. Giving an extra star only because the store itself is clean and their prices are reasonable. The teenagers at the Winn Dixie and workers at Walmart are a whole lot nicer for goodness sake. Please, management, if you’re reading, take a page out of the Pace Aldi’s and see how you can improve the culture here at this location.

Employee was rude at the register and rushing us, it was around close so I understand people want to get off and go home. I paid for our items at 7:57 when they close at 8, upon leaving I had to force the door to open more because they had it stopped and only open at a certain width that would not fit the cart. Great deals on some items of food, and home goods.

One of my new favorite spots for meat, basics and even snacks. Drive a few extra miles and make this your first stop. Check online for products so you know what they Don't offer and order online pickup at another store so you never have to leave your car. Yes, its worth the hassle. Bring your own bags. Paper bags are 12 cents each and are reusable. Bring a quarter for the shopping cart. You get it back at the end.

I really enjoy shopping at this ALDI! It has great prices, a clean store, and friendly staff. The only downside is the checkout lines, which can get pretty long. Adding a few self-checkout options would make a big difference!

I love finding little deals like this!! Bakery items always on point. I never leave empty handed! Don't forget your quarter or your own bags!
